Fine Lines & Wrinkles

With age and the accumulation of environmental damage, the skin begins to lose its youthful elasticity and natural oils resulting in a weakening of the overall structure. Repetitive muscle contraction from daily facial movements coupled with a breakdown of collagen and elastin tissue leads to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles including the common smile and frown lines or crow’s feet around the eyes. As the skin loses its ability to recover, these lines and wrinkles become deeply rooted.

Skin lines and fillers

Neuromodulators or botulinum toxins temporarily block nerve receptors to relax muscles and prevent repetitive facial movements responsible for lines and wrinkles. As a result, neurotoxins smooth out fine lines and soften the appearance of wrinkles for a fresher, even complexion. They can also be used preventatively to prevent new lines from forming or deepening.
